The 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo is a gracious, mid-weight wine to drink now and over the next few years. Attractive spice and floral notes add shades of nuance to the Nebbiolo fruit. Relatively short fermentations keep the flavors bright. Not yet reviewed; 2022 vintage rated 92 points by Aldo Fiordelli (Decanter): "Intoxicating violet scents are joined by dark and salty cherry, lavender and hints of Culatello salumi. It's a Nebbiolo that breathes, with grainy but crunchy tannins and long, refreshing acidity. Traditionally from grapes in Ravera in Barolo, with an easterly exposure, since 2019 this also incorporates a smaller proportion of grapes from young vines in Bussia. The wine ages for 18 months in large barrels. Drinking Window: 2024-2032."
